South Central Ohio Insurance Consortium

The South Central Ohio Insurance Consortium legally links together public entities to offer the most comprehensive benefit plan possible while keeping cost increases to manageable levels, rather than offering one specific plan. Instead, the consortium is set up as a funding mechanism for the plan that is developed by each entity. SCOIC is made up of 20 public entities in Ohio and covers 4,000 employee lives.
